Couple Meets On Jury Duty and… Wait For It

No one looks forward to jury duty, but if you’re single, you may want to rethink it.

A couple from New Orleans met while they were both serving on jury duty in 2015. Kris Gerig (31) was serving as the foreman, and Sarah Abbot (28) was the alternate, so she really just sat and listened to the whole thing but didn’t get to vote the outcome. Don’t worry, it wasn’t a murder trial or anything (that would have really changed the tone of this story), it was just a contractor being accused of fraud.

Kris and Sarah started talking during the breaks and realized they had a lot in common. Once the whole thing was over, they started dating. (cue the “Awwwws”)

But wait, there’s more….

Last week, they got married – in the same courtroom – with the same judge from the court case officiating the wedding.

‘The Sheep Detectives’ is the starry, family-friendly whodunit you didn’t know you needed

Talking animal movies do not, on the whole, have the best reputation. Yes, there is "Babe," but "Babe" is the exception. Most are pretty bad, whether it's the uncanny effects, the shoddy storytelling or some horrifying combination of the two.
