Country singer Tara Thompson to stop in Clarksville on White Castle Tour

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Bringing her redneck charm to fans one flip of a phrase and turn of a spatula, Tara Thompson will launch a series of events dubbed the WHITE CASTLE® WEDNESDAY TOUR beginning next week. At six White Castle® locations throughout Tennessee and Kentucky, the “Someone to Take Your Place” singer/songwriter will work the drive-thru window, perform a few songs and meet fans as they dine. Through her weekly videos, Tara answers questions and invites local special guests such as magicians, stylists and contestants from The Bachelor to join select episodes. Join the fun here: www.Facebook.com/TaraThompsonMusic. “This idea spiraled from all of the fun we’ve had during Maytag Mondays,” shared Tara. “My whole life has been full of wacky adventures – many that make it into my songs – so I love connecting with my fans in unique ways too. I am thrilled White Castle is partnering with us … especially since there are sure to be some good ol’ fashioned sliders in the mix!” WHITE CASTLE® WEDNESDAY TOUR CLARKSVILLE STOP:
Event begins at 6 p.m. March 01 – Clarksville, TN (3060 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.) Since releasing her Someone To Take Your Place EP last fall, Tara has candidly presented her music to audiences nationwide as part of CMT’s 2016 Next Women of Country Tour with headliner Jennifer Nettles in addition to fairs and festivals. She has been profiled on NPR’s Morning Edition sharing off-the-cuff stories – including her brother’s wedding that occurred inside a storage unit – with the program that tallies over 33 million listeners.
