If you could go back and ask your exes for their take on why the relationship ended, would you?
Katie Miller, a 21 year old college student at Georgetown University, sort of did just that.
Miller created a standardized survey after “being ghosted yet again.” She told INSIDER, “I wanted to see if I could prevent that, and I wanted to ask why it happened without initiating a conversation.”
When Miller’s friend Abby Goviden, a 21 year old college student and stand-up comedian, got a hold of the survey, she couldn’t help but share it on social media.
And we are so glad she did!
Of her friend’s survey, Goviden shares, “There’s this girl I know who sends an exit survey to every guy she casually AND seriously dates.”
The questions are pretty blunt and to the point in the most glorious way possible, too.
They include:
- What is wrong with Katie?
- What is wrong with you?
- At what point did you know this wouldn’t work out?
- What could Katie have done to enhance this experience for you?
- Would you refer Katie to a friend? (If so, please list the numbers)
- Would you like to remain on the mailing list in case Katie revisits your application or another opportunity opens up?
Not every guy she’s dated takes part in the exit survey, but those who do tend to keep it kind.
Some of the answers for what Katie could have done better to “enhance the experience” of the relationship were: “No biting,” “Come to some bars with me,” “visited maine,” “More tater tots,” and “Give me a shoulder massage.”
We want some back story on that whole not going to Maine one . . .
