Coffee Before Bed Might Not Be What’s Keeping You Up After All

Well what do you know . . .

Apparently, drinking coffee at night won’t keep us up all night after all.

According to a new study out from Florida Atlantic University, there is no connection between drinking caffeine at night and struggling to fall asleep or stay asleep.

Now that we know this answer, what DOES affect our ability to sleep?

Smoking and vaping. Getting your nicotine fix within four hours of bedtime can have a significant effect on sleep.

So does alcohol, but it’s effect is not as strong as nicotine.

The findings from this study isn’t exactly a hall pass to chugging a bunch of coffee at night, though, because some people are more sensitive to caffeine.

However, if you’re not, feel free to make it part of your nightly ritual.
