Christian County collectors to be featured on the show, American Pickers, filming this spring!

The hit show American Pickers is coming to Kentucky to film a few episodes, and they are looking for people to be part of it. The History Channel show is a documentary series that explores the world of antiques. Pickers on the show hunt for America’s most valuable antiques and are always excited to find historically significant or rare items.

The cast and crew will be arriving in March to start filming. A news release from producers says they are looking for leads on hidden treasures in the Kentucky area. Anyone in Christian County who has a unique item, a story to tell, and is ready to sell can contact the show for a chance to be featured.

“They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way,” said the news release. “The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.”

The pickers are only interested in private collections and do not visit stores, flea markets, malls, auctions, businesses, or museums. Anyone interested can send in their name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184.
