Chart-Topping Country Quartet Parmalee to Headline Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival Concert in Oak Grove, KY

Oak Grove, KY March 13, 2018: It is with great pleasure and excitement that the Oak Grove Tourism Commission announces Chart-Topping Country Quartet PARMALEE as this year’s headliner for the 11th annual Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell. Parmalee will take the stage at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center (Amphitheater) in Oak Grove, Saturday May 26, 2018 at 7:00pm.

Parmalee is known for their 2013 breakout single, “Carolina,” which turned into a Platinum-certified #1 hit, while their debut album landed in the Top 10. Two more singles “Close Your Eyes” and “Already Callin’ You Mine” rose to #4 and #10 on the Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The concert, along with all other activities at the Spring into Summer Festival, is free and open to the public.

“We are excited to have Parmalee for our 11th annual International & Regional award winning Festival,” said Traci Cunningham, Executive Director of Oak Grove Tourism. The relationship between Country Music artists, our troops and their families is a long-standing tradition and we are delighted and thrilled Parmalee will be bringing their talent and support to Oak Grove, KY.

The 11th Annual Spring into Summer Festival will take place May 26-27, 2018. Activities will run Saturday May 26th from 12pm-9pm and Sunday May 27th from 12pm-6pm. Both days of the festival will include new and exciting stage shows. The Freddy Fossil’s Dino Show it’s Pre-Hysterical! Fun and laughs happen fast in this one-of-a-kind hilarious show, with amazingly life-like dinosaur puppets and lots of comical audience participation. The Tricky Max Comedy Magic Show will also be here! Watch Tricky Max Rock ‘N’ Wow Magic show, an electric guitar that floats in mid-air and a medley of groovy songs that are showstoppers in this rockfest of Abracadazzle. You will want to see it more than once. Back again, is the free carnival rides provided by Casey’s Rides. There will be a balloon artists giving out free balloons, you can even get a caricature drawing done while enjoying your time at the festival.

Saturday will feature an extended parachute jumpers show before the concert featuring Parmalee, and after the concert there will be a gorgeous fireworks show that will close out Saturday nights festival.
