An iconic breakfast mascot is having a big birthday bash this week in Palm Springs, California. Cap’n Crunch will celebrate his 60th birthday on Saturday with a 21+ pool party at the Margaritaville Resort.

It will transform into the “Cap’n’s Cove” for the event. The party will feature Cap’n Crunch-inspired brunch items, a DJ and live music. The free event is being held on the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio. Cap’n Crunch was first introduced by the Quaker Oats Company in 1963.

I loved this when I was little, but man, the roof of my mouth was messed up after eating it!  (Worth it!!)
