Army ball invite to Mat Best from wife of fallen 101st soldier goes viral

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW.COM) A video exchange between the wife of a fallen 101st soldier and Former Army Ranger and Youtube star Mat Best has now gone viral with several thousand views, following publication on the website PopularMilitary.Com. Rachel Richardson is the widow of Sgt. Jonathan “Rich” Richardson, a 3rd BCT Rakkasan, killed in a 2010 insurgent attack in Afghanistan. Rachel explained in a YouTube video how she is invited to the unit ball every year, saying, “They are like my family so I love going to talk to my heroes and meet new ones.” https://www.facebook.com/rachel.richardson.980/videos/10209271954372595/ This year she asked Army Ranger veteran and celebrity Mat Best if he would attend the ball in August. Mat Best wrote, “I was sent an emotional video message asking me to a 101st Airborne Unit Ball from a Gold Star Wife.
