Almost Time

It’s almost blackberry picking time again.  So last year Moriah discovered blackberries and she loved them.  So we have a bunch of vines on our place and with the sweet taste of summertime and eating blackberries still in her brain, we have been watching the vines.  We saw them bloom and then we watched as the little berry formed on the vine and we’ve had to go out and check on them to make sure they are growing, and growing they are.  So here it is, almost July, by the second week of July, they should be just about ready to pick.  I’m not sure who’s looking more forward to it, me or her.  I can not believe God has blessed us so richly with my little baby girl.  The Bible speaks of how children are a blessing and I never really understood that until her.  She wears me out, tests my patience, and we are just 3 years into this gig.  I would NOT trade it at all, for anything.  She is my joy.  Thank you Jesus for Moriah, oh, and blackberries. lol
