ACM Time

Who’s ready for the ACM’s?  There are so many award shows anymore it’s hard to keep it all straight.  But as for me I still look at to award organizations with still having some cred, and that’s the CMA’s and the ACM’s.  This year marks the 56th year for the Academy Of Country Music awards and while I love for our format to take center stage and be bigger than life, I have to admit one thing I’ve liked about COVID and country music, it’s brought some of the appeal back to Nashville.  So this year the ACM’s are occupying three spaces, the Opry House, the Ryman and The Bluebird.  I’ve loved having my little side hustle over the past few weeks and been able to see all that has gone on behind the scenes getting everything ready for Sunday night.  I’ve not seen to many artist but I have walked by many country stars tour buses, and I can tell you, I think Kenny Chesney must have his jet BLACK tour bus waxed like three times a day as shiny as that thing has been even with all this pollen. lol  I’m looking forward to seeing how it’s all gonna come together Sunday night and knowing some of the performances already, I do believe it will be a big night for country.  So here’s to our format, here’s to all those that still want to keep it country and here’s to Nashville lookin’ good Sunday night at the 56th ACM awards, this year on CBS.
