A Self-Driving Uber Car Ran a Red Light

Uber started testing their self-driving cars in San Francisco on Wednesday.  They might be in trouble for not getting the right permits first, but they claim they don’t need them.  Now a video of one of their cars blowing through a red light is going viral. All the cars they’re using have an actual driver behind the wheel, just in case.  And Uber claims the DRIVER was controlling the car when it happened, so they suspended him for it. Meanwhile, a woman claims she saw another one of their cars drift into an intersection and almost hit the Lyft car she was riding in.  Uber also blamed the driver for that one, and they got suspended too.
