A Halloween Favorite in Clarksville is delayed a bit

One thing we all look forward to around Halloween is the appearance of the Bones Family. This is certainly a favorite around here. The Bones family is a family of skeletons in different scenes every night. Unfortunately, there have been some issues this year. This was posted on the Bones Family Facebook page yesterday.

Sarah Garcia, creator of the “Cat and Cauldron” Halloween display, has been happily hosting The Bones Family annually.

Normally, the display is a graveyard featuring 76 individual tombstones and over 30 skeletons. Garcia’s family and best friend come together every night to create a different scenario in which the skeletons seemingly come to life.

In past years, some of the skeletal antics at the “Cat and Cauldron” display include cooking shows, ice-skating, and tailgating.

“We do a different scene every single day. We’ve never repeated a scene in eight years, not once,” Garcia told Clarksville Now.

With Garcia having a background in theatre production, creating this display in her front yard started out as a way for her to express her love for production and dramatics. She started with just four skeletons.

The preparation for this October-long event starts right after Christmas for the following year.
