A Group Of Women Made History At The Super Bowl

Every year during the National Anthem at the Super Bowl a flyover happens with one of the branches of the military.  This year it was conducted by an all women team, according to 19 News.

The 3 women crew took to the air, flying over State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona as Chris Stapleton performed the National Anthem.  Not only was this the first all-women crew to do this but it was also to commemorate that women have been flying Navy jets for 50 years.

In 1973, 8 women joined the flight school with the Navy making history.  The following year, 6 of those 8 women earned their Wings of Gold.

So, I guess the old saying is true, anything a guy can do, a woman can do better.

Congrats Ladies!
