WAWA is Coming to Clarksville?!?

There it is under the story about the new Buccee’s coming to Exit 1.

According to ClarksvilleNow.com,

“Another site plan up for review is for a WaWa convenience store. That is proposed on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Lady Marion Street. The Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Planning Committee is meeting on these and other plans at their next meeting, Tuesday, June 27.”

I had to do a double-take. Wawa, the beloved chain of convenience/gas station stores across the east coast develops a following as faithful to Philadelphians as their sports teams. When I first moved to Philly I kept hearing “Have you checked out a Wawa yet?”

“Uh, do you mean the gas station?”

That will get you THE LOOK.

Oh, it’s so much more than a gas station. This is where customers become extremely passionate about their Wawa coffee (it’s fantastic) and especially the FOOD!

You can grab a ready-to-go sandwich or hoagie or order it personalized and made-to-order fresh. From hoagies and cheesesteaks to ciabatta sandwiches, paninis, quesadillas, and burritos, to breakfast sandwiches and Wawa ice cream, you can practically live out of a Wawa. They make a commitment to serve fresh and you’ll find a ton of healthy choices like fresh bananas or apples if that’s what you’re looking for on the go as well. They have EVERYTHING at Wawa. But oh those sandwiches.

Please let this be true!

Take a quick look at the Wawa deli menu HERE.

Cheeseteak wit, please.
