THIS Stresses Out Mom More Than Kids (Ahem Dad)

What’s more stressful to a Mom than the kids?

This may be hard to hear (or in this case read) Dad. Yes. We’re looking at you.

Seven thousand moms were surveyed and Dad stresses Mom out more than the kids. And it’s not just by a little.

Mom stresses out over her husband TWICE as much as stressing over the kids.

Moms are really stressed. On the stress level, Mom says she’s averaging about an 8.5 on a scale of 10. Three-quarters of moms feel like if they didn’t do the household chores, they simply would not get done.

Some of the quotes from the study may also be a bit challenging to read.

  • “A 7-year-old is going to be a 7-year-old, but a 35-year-old acting like a 7-year-old is more stressful because they should know better,” one mom explains.
  • “I am exhausted emotionally and physically when my husband comes home,” comments another. “He feels like another job.”
