Step Back in Time in Clarksville

When you walk into the Rte 41 Antique Mall in Clarksville, your first notice how much bigger it is inside than it first appears. There are rows and rows of booths all taking you back to Grandma’s house or attic.

My husband and I decided to finally pull in one night for a browse and we fell in love with the place! From the moment we saw the old-fashioned turntable stereo table so popular in the late 60s and early 70s, to the incredible album collection, we couldn’t stop looking at all the knick-knacks and home decor that we grew up with. It was so relaxing strolling through all those booths.

With the jazz music playing in the background, the old quilts like Nana used to knit and the ornate bedframes and furniture that they just don’t make anymore, it felt like we traveled back in time and left 2023 at the door facing the Rte 41 Bypass.

Seeing the old typewriter flooded me with memories of trying to get book reports finished in time at the dining room table while dealing with letters that just didn’t work anymore on the typewriter. LOL

If you are ever in the mood to travel back in time for a bit, stop in and travel back to your childhood!

The Rte 41 Antique Mall is at 2448 Highway 41A Bypass
Clarksville.
