Kelsea Ballerini Drops Revealing and Powerful EP

Kelsea Ballerini took the opportunity of Valentine’s Day to reveal a deeply personal and powerful project she’s been working on.

Six songs and a short film make up “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat”.  Ballerini wrote and directed the film which is broken up into six parts featuring each new song. The whole project reveals details about her divorce from Morgan Evans. The two had met back in 2016 when they co-hosted an awards show in Australia. They fell in love and were married in Mexico by the end of the year. It was Kelsea who shared on her IG stories last fall that they would be splitting up writing, “I’ve always tried to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold. This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.”
