GOVS ARE CHAMPS!!

What a team!!!!

The pride and excitement that the APSU Govs football team brings to the Clarksville community is electric!

Nine wins in a row and your United Athletic Conference Champions, the Govs move on to the FCS playoffs this Saturday at 2 pm hosting Chattanooga at Fortera Stadium.

The winner will then advance to the second round of the playoffs to face SoCon Champion and No. 7 national seed Furman on Dec. 2 in Greenville, South Carolina.

It’s been so much fun to watch this incredible team of gifted athletes with an impressive Grade Point Average coached by the energetic Scotty Walden. There may be no coach as passionate about what he does. He could motivate you to do practically anything. With Coach Walden, the APSU Marching Band, the APSU Cheer Teams, and the unstoppable players, it feels like a runaway train for the prize and we’re loving the ride!

Let’s sell out the Fort for Clarksville’s hometown team and cheer them on to ultimate victory!
