Talladega Text Contest Rules


Beginning at 2:00p on May 2, 2013 through 2:59p on May 2, 2013, you can attempt win 2 tickets for the Aarons 312 to take place Saturday, May 4 at the Talladega Superspeedway and the Aaron’s 499 to take place May 5 at the Talladega Superspeedway.  4 winners will each receive 2 tickets for the Aaron’s 312 valued at $45 each and 2 tickets for the Aaron’s 499 valued at $60 each retail for a total prize value of $210.  The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older and those 18 or older with a valid Military I.D.

To attempt to win, one text the word ‘dega’ to 77000.  Message and data rates may apply and entrants will be added to the Beaver Text Club.  Deadline to enter is 2:59pm on May 2, 2013.  A random drawing will be conducted by station personnel on May 2 to determine the winners. Prizes must be claimed no later than 5pm on May 3, 2013.  Complete WVVR contest rules apply and are available at beaver1003.com.

WVVR contests are open to those 18 or older have not won anything on WVVR in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WVVR, SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF TUCKESSEE, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WVVR main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
