Nashville Mayor declares August 5 ‘Dolly Parton Day’

Happy Dolly Day!

Nashville Mayor David Briley has declared August 5 as Dolly Parton Day in Nashville. Mayor Briley was with Dolly when he signed the proclamation.

“Today, I proudly signed a proclamation honoring one of Tennessee’s greatest education and literacy advocates — and a true legend of country music. Happy Dolly Parton Day, Nashville” he stated on his Twitter.
