Youtuber, King of Sting, Coyote Peterson lets a murder hornet sting him…on purpose!

2020 has been totally crappy so far!  Here’s something to add on top of everything else, giant “Murder Hornets!!!”   I guess they thought it was a good time to arrive in the U.S.

According to The New York Times, the Asian giant hornet —dubbed the “Murder Hornet” have been spotted in parts of Washington and British Columbia, Canada for the first time. The hornets, can get up to 2-3 inches long AND have a stinger that can penetrate a beekeeper suit.  The hornets also can kill a human if that person is stung multiple times.

The main concern about the murder hornets coming to North America, the bee population.  Murder hornets can kill an entire hive of honeybees just to eat the larva.

YouTuber Coyote Peterson videoed him getting Murder Hornet to sting him.  From what I see, this will do nothing to ease fears.  Check out the video, the sting happens around the 11-minute mark.

Coyote Peterson tracked down the giant hornet in Japan and intentionally took a sting from the insect.  Unfortunately for The King of Sting, the Murder Hornet’s stinger actually got caught and dislodged into his arm, which caused way more venom than he anticipated to get released. His arm swelled up and he was in a near-incapacitating amount of pain.

If you see one of these hornets in person, run away and call a local department of agriculture.  It’s important to keep them out of North America and save honey bees!
