Who sang it better? Tim McGraw or Kenny Chesney?

We all loved that 1998 hit “How Forever Feels” by Kenny Chesney.  I mean, the song did go all the way to the top, it reached number one on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart.  It was sooooo hot, it also peaked at number 27 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making it Kenny’s first Top 40 hit on the pop chart.

Maybe you knew this and maybe you didn’t but the song was in Tim McGraw’s hot hands at the time and decided not to release it, so Kenny grabbed it and the rest is history.

This brought up the question, would it have had the same or more success if Tim released the song?  Guess we will never know about that one, but a question we can answer is, who sang it better?

Here’s the version we all know and love, Kenny Chesney’s version…

Now, here is the lesser known version, Tim McGraw’s version…
