What?? I am in one of the worst professions??

CareerCast.com released its annual list of the worst jobs in America.  And newspaper reporter is #1 for the fourth year in a row.  Disc Jockey (although I prefer “on air personality”) also made the list again.  Obviously I’m gonna take issue with that one, I love it!  Last year it DJ was #4, and now it’s #6.  So the good news is we’ve got a better gig than Logger and Pest control (no offense to you hard working folks!) now.  Here’s the full list

1.  Newspaper reporter.

2.  TV broadcaster.

3.  Logger.

4.  Enlisted military personnel, mostly because of how dangerous it is.  But my hat is off to ALL of you!!  SALUTE!!

5.  Pest control worker.

6.  Disc jockey . . . I promise you WOULD NOT envy our schedule, getting up at the crack of dawn or coming in at 9pm because of bad weather.

7.  Ad sales.  Which by the way, we rely on for our paychecks so thanks to ALL of our sales people!

8.  Firefighter.  This one I don’t understand…some ladies would set themselves on fire just to get one of these studly guys to stop!

9.  Retail sales….*sigh* been there!

10.  Taxi driver.
