What did other artists think of Taylor Swift getting political?
Apparently, everyone with a mic in their hands at the AMAs wanted to hear what the country artists thought of Taylor Swift suddenly getting political.
Taylor said at the AMA’s the other night that she is endorsing Tennessee Democrats for the U.S. Senate and House. She said, quote, “I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love.”
Thomas Rhett said it’s great that she’s “using her platform to stand up for something she believes in.”
Kelsea Ballerini had a similar take, saying, quote, “I think it’s cool and that’s what she feels is important because she has a big ol’ platform, so it’s awesome.”
