Website alerts you to when you touch your face

There is a lot of pressure to keep your hands away from your face these days!  We don’t realize how many times a day we touch our faces, to an itchy nose, a bit of food on the corner of our mouth, to something in your eye…it’s tough to not touch!  Or when it does happen, there isn’t a tissue or napkin to be found!  This is why washing your hands often is helpful!

There is a website that will teach you to not touch your face….donottouchyourface.com!!  Here’s how it works:

You’ll pair your webcam, take a video of your face.  You’ll take another video of you raising your CLEAN hands to your face and place your CLEAN hands on your face.

The webcam will indicate to the website that you are touching your face and alert you (and probably everyone around you) that you are touching your face!

Even the experts can’t stop touching their own face!

The alerts will continue as long as the tab is open in your browser’s background.  You’ll have to restart the process each time you start the website!  If we stop touching our faces, this might be worth the trouble!

REMEMBER!!!   Wash your hands, wash your hands and wash your hands!  Wash your hands more, then wash your hands more!

The best defense against Coronavirus….yup, you guessed it….WASH YOUR HANDS!  (this isn’t a new thing)
