We NEED a week of Sun and Spring-like temps! We NEED this!

I’m not going to lie, with all this Coronavirus pandemic going on, I feel a little on the scared side.  I am scared for the health of people, my friends and my family.  I’m scared for the economy and jobs!  I am a worrier by nature, but I try not to worry so much.  “Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind,” I’m not certain the author of that quote, but yes, it can seem to trickle constantly through your mind and I’m certain worry does no good for anyone.

On top of all this, it seems all it’s been doing is raining.  All this rain can’t be good for the psyche, but I’m certain we will need it come summertime!  Right now, we just need some sun and springlike temps.  The change of seasons seem to give you a sense of hope, the love of nature waking up and thriving.  The change of seasons also give you the faith that things will be good!

I think we need a solid week of sunny skies, clear nights and spring temps.  I think it will give us all the hope, love and faith we all need during this time.

I will not lie to you when I tell you the combination of the two things, coronavirus and no sun, have put me in a gloom and doom mood, if you will.

Just remember, don’t stop believing!

Remember the guidelines the CDC and WHO.

  1.  Wash your hands
  2. Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas
  3. Don’t touch your face
  4. Work from home if you can
  5. Social Distancing
  6. If no soap and water, use hand sanitizer that has at least 60% alcohol.
  7. Stay home if you feel sick
  8. Cover coughs and sneezes with arm or inside shirt
  9. Don’t go out in public if you don’t have to!

USE COMMON SENSE AND WE’LL ALL GET THROUGH THIS AND BACK TO NORMAL!

Keep the faith y’all!!

I guess if it’s hard to be away from your friends and family, have a Netflix Party!

Just because you’re social distancing doesn’t mean you and your friends have to forgo your movie nights or TV watch parties.

There is a way to pipe everyone in for a Netflix Party!  A Google Chrome extension called Netflix Party!  This is where groups of friends and/or family can get together virtually and watch their favorite Netflix titles on computers at the same time. The extension also comes with a chat room, so you can Ooooo and Ahhhhh till your hearts content!  You can share your thoughts and opinions to the show or movie as you watch.

In order to participate, all you need is a Google Chrome browser, the extension and a Netflix subscription. Here’s how it works:

Once you are done with your Netflix Party, if you are still wondering what to do, HERE is a website with 100 things to do while stuck in side.

I’ve got one more song for my quarantine playlist…
