Tiger King popularity prompts Florida authorities to ask for leads

The popularity of the Netflix Docuseries is just what we need for a quarantine pandemic!  The show, just like the title says has murder, mayhem and madness! The docuseries is a total train wreck that you can’t seem to look away!

The docuseries revolves around an Oklahoma zookeeper self nick named Joe Exotic. The true crime docuseries just debuted on Netflix this month!  The docuseries are the events that led Joe Exotic to plan a murder-for-hire plot against animal rights activist Carole Baskin.

The show also dives into Carole Baskin’s life as well, including the disappearance of her husband Don Lewis in 1997.  Multimillionaire Don Lewis was Carole Baskin’s 1st husband and they were running a wildlife sanctuary in Tampa.  The Don simply vanished in August 1997.  According to the Tampa Bay Times, authorities found his van at a Pasco County airport with the keys on the floor.

Baskin was very critical of Joe Exotic and his zoo, this prompted rumors that were spread by Joe Exotic and others about the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis.

Baskin says she was helping her husband prepare big cats for transport to Costa Rica the night before he vanished.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister is taking advantage of the show’s popularity to ask for new leads in Lewis’ case.

Just for fun…..Here are some Joe Exotic videos!

PS….the 90’s called, they want their videos back!
