Springfield is quickly becoming the “Hollywood” of Tennessee

There is an independent film that has started filming in Springfield, TN.  The movie is called “The Life of Me.”  Where it’s being made, Springfield, is surely becoming a a town for films to be filmed. Springfield is getting some much deserved attention.

In just the past few years, many film production companies use the square in the center of Springfield.  There is a small town, charming characteristic about the center square in Springfield.

Frito-Lay was filming a commercial with country star, Thomas Rhett.

Duo, Dan + Shay also filmed a music videos in Springfield and Tim McGraw has been spotted in the square.

The coffee shop, Historic Perk was featured in Lifetime’s A Welcome Home Christmas, and ever since it was featured in a Lifetime movie, people stop and take pictures outside and there is lots of talk about the movie being filmed there now.

Here’s a little about the film, “The Life of Me.” A wealthy heir walks away from the family business and starts a new life in a small-town. He struggles to hide his true identity from his new friends and his newfound love, but when the family business shows up to steal his new friend’s businesses and land, he must risk telling them the truth or do nothing and watch them lose it all.
