Somebody Stole $5,000 of Gear from Lindsay Ell’s Rental Car
Somebody broke into Lindsay Ell’s rental car while she was at a writing session in L.A. She posted a photo of herself at the airport looking pretty bummed.
She wrote, “My full backpack got stolen. My wallet. Lost about $5,000 of gear. Still have my guitars. The only part I’m really sad about is losing song and picture files that were on my hard drive and I hadn’t backed up yet.”
The only bright side is that people heard about it and reached out pretty quickly. Someone even arranged for her to pick out a new backpack.
