Remember the old Nokia 3310’s? This one was found 20 years later with 70% battery life!

Remember the old Nokia 3310’s?  You could make calls, play the game “Snake,” it took twice as long to text and the batteries lasted for days?  Yeah!  Those phones!

Kevin Moody, from the UK, recently cleared out a junk drawer and he found his old Nokia 3310 mobile phone. The phone was still on, and had been forgotten about for 20 years.

Incredibly the phone still had just over 70% battery remaining.

Today’s mobile phones, such as iPhones, have an average battery life of around 17 minutes and require plugging in throughout the day in order to have enough power for the rest of the day and night. The Nokia 3310, however, never required charging.

Scientists believe that Nokia had created renewable energy rather than a mobile phone.

Conspiracy theorists believe the Nokia 3310 disappeared because of threats and underhand tactics from fossil fuels, as a battery that never ran out would wipe out the fossil fuel industry.
