Tim McGraw used to say he might run for political office after his kids flew the coop. And then every time someone would ask for an update, he’d dance around the issue. Well, somebody asked again, and he finally closed the door. For good.

Quote, “Absolutely not. Are you kidding? I mean look, I have a lot of respect and there are a lot of good people out there who [are] trying to do the right thing and make the world a better place.

“But do I want to get into that atmosphere? I think it’s a high calling and I don’t know that I could do it in the world today.”
