Natalie Maines files for divorce after 17 years of marriage

Natalie Maines and Adrian Pasdar announced they’re getting divorced after 17 years of marriage.  She’s the one who filed, citing irreconcilable differences although a source said it’s amicable.  She’s asking for joint custody of their two sons, 16-year-old Jackson Slade, and 12-year-old Beckett Finn.  Her rep declined to comment, calling it “a private family matter.”  She’s 42, he’s 52.  You may recognize Adrian as the taller cop in the Dixie Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl” video.  He’s also played Nathan Petrelli on “Heroes”, Glenn Talbot on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, and Nolan Burgess on “Colony”.  Natalie and Adrian met back in 1999 when they booth stood up at Emily and Charlie Robison’s wedding.  Ironically, Charlie and Emily are now divorced, and she’s currently married to a guy named Martin Strayer.
