Monica stayed in this place this past weekend

This past weekend was a hard one for me.  I lost my cousin to COVID-19. We grew up in the same town and I remember the day she was born!

I absolutely hate the reason I had to be in East Tennessee but the sights were unbelievably beautiful.  We had to go to Harrogate, Tn area. Since it was last minute accommodations, we had to find a place that took pets since we didn’t have time to board my pup!

After doing a little research on places to stay in the Harrogate/Middlesboro area, we came across this cabin on AirBnB…best of all, it allowed pets! What a treasure!

It was behind a big house called Tolliver Manor.  This was like stepping back in time! Besides all the modern conveniences, I felt like I was stepping back to the 1800’s, like Little House on the Prairie time!  I did get some pics of this treasure!  There really wasn’t any info on the history of the cabin or the manor.  That would have been amazing to learn! Anyway, here are the pics I snapped of this amazing treasure!

This is the loft/main bedroom.

Looking into the bathroom.  It has a real clawfoot tub!

This is the living room…the living room looking up to the loft and a storage closet.

The steps going up to the loft area.

Finally, the view!  Breathtaking!

Although I hated the reason we had to go.  I can’t find the words to say how much I’ll miss my cousin.

My 12 year old thought this cabin was amazing! Which made me smile through my heartbreak.

If you ever get to that area, look it up!  Stay in this historical treasure!
