Miranda gets pummeled on the internet because of a picture

Miranda Lambert got pummeled for photos she shared on Twitter yesterday of herself and the Tiger King,   Joe Exotic. The pics were taken in 2017 after Hurricane Harvey tore through Texas and Louisiana.

She was in Houston with her dog rescue, Mutt Nation rescuing dogs.  She put out a call for volunteers because she needed help transporting shelter dogs to Oklahoma, and Joe answered her call by bringing his trailer.

But she didn’t explain any of that in the Twitter caption. All she wrote was, “Here’s a little Monday memory for y’all. #TigerKing. #WayTooPrettyForPrison.”

Of course, we all know Joe is serving 22 years for animal abuse and trying to have Carol Baskins killed.

People on the Internet had a few things to say. Stuff like, “That’s not a pic I would be proud of let alone post on social media. Very disappointed.” And “Surprised you would post this considering your love of animals. Odd.”

Miranda had to do another post where she explained the whole Hurricane Harvey backstory. She ended it with, “I’ve never been to his zoo and I didn’t even know he had tigers. Obviously, I’d never condone animals being treated badly.”

The next Met Gala exhibit will spotlight fashion across art history

If there's been one uniting theme of all the blockbuster fashion exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it's the simple idea that fashion is art.
