Keith Urban offered to jump out of George Straits birthday cake too…but George has someone else in mind

You may remember April 1st when Keith Urban jumped out of Loretta Lynn’s giant (fake) birthday cake during her birthday concert at the Bridgestone.  Getting Keith  to jump from the cake was Loretta’s birthday wish.  Keith offered to do it again for another country legend’s big day…George Strait but George turned him down.

Keith recalls his convo with George, “He said, ‘I can’t believe you’re jumping out of a cake!'”  Adding that he then offered to do the same thing for Strait’s 87th birthday (which, for those keeping score, won’t be until 2039).

George said, ‘I think I’ll have Lee Ann Womack do it,'” Urban recounts, “‘but thank you.'”
