Jennifer Nettles busted her rib

Jennifer Nettles tripped over a lighting fixture and fell off the stage at a private show in New York City Thursday.  She was on her way up to perform when it happened.  They rushed her to the hospital and it turns out she DID break her rib.

She posted on Twitter and said, “Broken rib and banged up, but grateful.  Maybe slowly moving for a bit.  But I’ll rally.”

Another Tweet later, she wanted everyone to know that she’s NOT a big ole klutz, quote, “First time in all my 20-plus years of performing to fall off a stage.  First time for everything.”

In a very thankful and grateful post, she posted kudos to the urgent care workers.  “Thank you to first responders, EMTs, and everyone at the hospital.  [To] Dr. Mordel and all the nurses, I am so grateful for you.”
