Is FGL’s “I Love My Country” a rip off of Kane Brown’s “Short Skirt Weather?”

There is a YouTuber out there who goes by the name of “Sir Mashalot” posted a comparison of Florida Georgia Line’s “I Love My Country” and Kane Brown’s “Short Skirt Weather.”   Can you tell the difference in the two songs, besides the lyrics.  He plays a little bit of each one and then mashes them together and they match up perfectly.

“Short Skirt Weather” is from Kane’s 2018 album, “Experiment” while “I Love My Country” just came out in March.

Listen to Sir Mashalot’s mix and you be the judge!

What do you think?

Here’s the thing, Kane and his co-writers have been added to the list of songwriters for “I Love My Country”.
