I know this may sound crazy, but the first time I heard Mitchell Tenpenny’s song Drunk Me, I was reminded of Michael Jackson’s Human Nature.  Listen to this clip and tell me if I’m hearing things.

It’s not a “rip off” similarity, it’s almost like Mitchell was channeling the King of Pop.
