Two-thirds of Americans will eat chocolate on Valentine’s Day this year. Over half of us will eat three pieces or more, and 90% will keep snacking on their candy well into next week.

The poll also found cupcakes, gummy bears, and candy hearts are three of the most popular treats to eat on Valentine’s Day. But what about NAME BRAND candy?

Someone looked at the most popular candies in all 50 states, and M&M’s took the top spot overall. They’re #1 in 20 states, followed by Skittles in 17. Kentucky, you love the KitKats and Tennessee, you love Skittles!!

Kit Kats are third with five: Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups got three: Delaware, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

Snickers took the top spot in two states: Idaho and South Dakota.
