Favorite Christmas presents from years gone by

I understand this may be showing my age a bit, but I have great memories of some great Christmas presents from Santa over the years….

I remember being a HUGE Fonzie fan!  I kid you not, I still think Henry Winkler is the coolest guy EVER!  He didn’t know it, but he was my boyfriend when i was 5 years old!

I got this cool doll one year…i was over the moon!  I mean, if I still had this doll today, I’d be a rich woman possibly!

And this bright little gem, I got this in about 1978…I was 6 or 7.  To this day, I can still hear my mom accidentally vacuuming up the little pegs.

This….i actually had the McDonald’s restaurant play place!  Wow, sure does bring back memories!  When I got older, I remember selling it at a yard sale.

There was this as I got older!  I remember FREAKING out over getting this album! 5th grade I think it was.  I remember sitting in my room for HOURS waiting to catch the song Beat It.  I had the tape player ready to record sitting on pause ready to unpause when i heard the 1st beat BONG….BONG..(the first two beats of the song Beat It)  Then I didn’t have to do that since I had the Album now!

Then THIS!  Remember when Debbie Gibson was huge?  Did you know she had a perfume?  Before Brittany, J-Lo, Beyonce….There was Debbie Gibson Electric Youth Perfume!!  I think I got that present from my boyfriend, Chris, at the time.

My how the tables have turned…I was REALLY into fashion back then, but now, I dress comfortably!  I wanted something GUESS back then and then on Christmas morning, I opened a box expecting socks, a purse, make up but then……..what wonder was in that box?  A sweatshirt that held all the magic and wonder…but it was a GUESS Sweatshirt!!

Then I moved to the next box and said, “Dad, is it GUESS Jeans?”  And my dad with his humor said, “You GUESS wrong!”

I loved this game…I got this for Christmas when I was about 8.  Fast Forward 30 years or more…my son loves this game too!
