Dwight Yoakam is a dad!
63-year-old Dwight Yoakam became a first-time dad last week. His wife Emily gave birth to a boy named Dalton. He posted the news on Friday and included pics of them headed to the hospital. He also snuck in a plug in the caption…Quote, “Like the lyric from the song ‘Waterfall’ that Dwight wrote Emily on his ‘3 Pears’ album, says . . . ‘Babies get born even in a pandemic lockdown.’
“With great joy and happiness Dwight and Emily announce the birth this past Sunday of their new baby boy. Dalton Loren Yoakam. Born 08-16-2020.” The couple were married back in March.
