Don’t panic! This main ingredient will be here in time for the holidays!

Recent reports have suggested that some areas around the country were experiencing shortages of canned pumpkin at supermarkets. Don’t panic! It turns out that Libby’s, one of the the primary producers of canned pumpkin, simply had a late harvest. The company blames weather conditions for a delay in the harvesting and delivering of the pumpkins. Canned pumpkin should be fully stocked on store shelves with plenty of time to bake pumpkin pies before the holidays, the company says.

It’s a good thing since there are pumpkin pies to be made for Thanksgiving and Christmas!  In case you don’t know how to bake a pumpkin pie, here’s a good recipe!
