Dolly Parton released a song she wrote while she was in quarantine called “When Life Is Good Again.”  It’s a song about several ways we can improve ourselves to emerge as better people.

Dolly is also featured in the PBS special “Iconic Women of Country Music”. It looks at the female performers who’ve had to fight gender bias across several decades.

Other iconic women include Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Barbara Mandrell, Connie Smith, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, and Trisha Yearwood. It debuts June 1st, which is this Monday, on PBS.
