I yelled, FREE SLURPEE DAY because it’s one of my favorite’s! Such great childhood memories of Slurpees, friends and summer! It was ideal! All that, leads me to Today’s date….7/11/22, which means it’s FREE SLURPEE DAY.  And 7-Eleven is actually calling it that for the first time.

I had to go to Kroger and Dover Crossing and I saw the progress of the new 7-Eleven going in there….BEAUTIFUL!!!  I’m super excited about a 7-Eleven being so close….I’m not the only one, my 13 year old is SUPER excited!

They’ve always called it “7-Eleven Day,” but everyone else called it “Slurpee Day.” So I guess they finally decided to go with it.

If it’s been a while since you’ve taken part of free Surpee Day, a few other things are different. Here’s what you need to know . . .

1. You can’t bring your own cup anymore. They stopped all that when the pandemic hit. Now you get a small Slurpee.

2. You have to sign up for their loyalty program. You can’t just walk in and get a free one anymore.

3. It’s also available at Speedway stores. 7-Eleven owns Speedway now. So you can get your Slurpee there too. There is a Speedway on Providence and

4. There’s a “Mystery Flavor” this year. It’s called “What the Fanta”. So it’s some sort of Fanta flavor, but that’s all I know.

They’ve also got a bunch of $1 deals on other stuff. They’re all posted on the 7-Eleven website.
