Did you learn anything from Ancestry.com?

So I was talking to a friend from Nashville last night about the fact that another friend of mine that got his wife genetic testing from Ancestry.com for her birthday. That’s a good gift!!  Now,…it’s got me thinking that I wanna try it.

If you got it as a gift or just bought it, did you learn something pretty shocking from Ancestry.com?

One story I read told the story that his 90 year old mother, who thought she was an only child, ended up having 9 brothers and sisters and a niece who lived 15 minutes from her. Her father was a traveling magician who left her Mom and apparently had relations with every woman he could.  And then I read that a woman who learned she was a descendant of a Salem witch!!  Compelling stuff!!

Have you learned anything about your ancestry??
