Comedian Amy Schumer was arrested protesting Brett Kavanaugh

I probably don’t have to tell you there were massive protests in Washington yesterday over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Amy Schumer got ARRESTED.  Not for anything heinous, mind you.  But because she and other protesters wouldn’t leave the Senate office building.

About 300 people were arrested, and it looks like they’ll all get hit with a $50 fine.  Someone got video of a cop trying to move Amy along.  He asks her if she wants to be arrested, and she says YES.

Amy also recorded a message for the daughter of one of her fellow protesters.  She said, quote, “Hi, Zola.  I’m here with your mom, she loves you very much.  I think we’re gonna get arrested, and we’re so proud of you.”
