A happy ending that will go down in history!

Remember the story of the brewery that put pics of adoptable dogs on beer cans?  You talk about a happy ending for Day Day!!

Minnesota woman recognized her lost dog on one of those Motorworks Brewing cans!  The dog had been missing for three years from  in Manatee County.

Monica Mathis says she was scrolling through Facebook when she saw the story about adoptable dogs being put on beer cans at a Florida brewery.

Mathis says the dog named Day Day, looked like the dog she helped deliver as a puppy.  The dog went missing from her Iowa home back in 2017.

The shelter said they checked to see if the dog had a microchip.  The dog did have a microchip with Monica’s first name, but her last name had changed and all the information on the chip was outdated.

Mathis was able to provide paperwork to prove to Manatee County Animal Services that Day Day was actually her dog, Hazel.

The shelter plans to get Hazel back to Minnesota sometime next week.  Hazel’s transportation to Minnesota is being paid for by Friends of Manatee County Animal Services.

I wonder how Hazel got all the way to Florida from Iowa!  A happy ending for a sweet pup!!
