Work week weather: Slight chance of storms Monday, then sunny skies

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s a chance of storms on Monday, but we have beautiful weather after that, with temperatures rising to 80 by Friday.

The chance of showers and storms on Monday is only 20%, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will drop to a high near 60 on Tuesday, rising toward 80 during the week.

  • Monday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
  • Monday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10pm and 11pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 49. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 63. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
  • Tuesday night: Clear, with a low around 40. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph.
  • Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Calm wind.
  • Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 72. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
  • Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.
