CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The week’s weather will begin with rain and end with lows near freezing.

The chance of rain Monday night is 80%, then 60% on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs will be around 70 until the rain passes, then will drop to the 50s on Wednesday. The low will be in the low 30s Friday night.

  • Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Light southeast wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
  • Monday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers after 3am. Low around 61. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
  • Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph after midnight.
  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
  • Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
  • Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. West northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
  • Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
  • Friday night: Widespread frost. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
