CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – After weeks of summer heat, Clarksville will get a taste of fall this week with cooler daytime highs and crisp nighttime lows.

According to the National Weather Service, highs will hover near 80 degrees each day, with lows dipping into the low to mid-50s. Mostly sunny skies are expected, with only slight chances of showers late in the week. Light north winds will add to the cooler, refreshing feel.

  • Monday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 81. Light north northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
  • Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Light north wind becoming north northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
  • Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the morning.
  • Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. East northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
  • Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
  • Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
  • Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.
